We believe
that music is a natural extension of worship for the Christian
believer. We use historical and contemporary
lyrics in worship. Many opportunities exist for young and old alike to
develop their musical skills and lift their voices in praise and
worship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you have a passion
for lifting praises to God through music either vocally or
instrumentally, we have a special place for you at New Georgia
Baptist Church.
Our Sanctuary
Choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesday Nights from 7-8 pm. The
Choir not only sings each week but works diligently to prepare for
our annual musical that takes place in November. It is made up
of anyone who can make a joyful noise unto the Lord and is excited
about honoring the Lord through music.
We have an
elementary aged choir and a preschool aged choir. Both meet at
6:00 pm on Sundays. Their talented directors lead them not
only in learning about music but also sign language and most
importantly, God's truth. The children generally offer at
least one musical each year, the time of year varies. |
